Upgrading your cooling system?  Thermostat housing destroyed? Stroker project?  The 2000 radiator is the better choice regardless.    
 
This plate is used to cap the thermostat housing if you want to run a 2000 Radiator in your 1600/Stroker  (For better cooling  and MUCH easier filling)
 
Easy, Quick installation - 4-bolt fitment as shown (late 67-70 R16 only).  Fits correctly and looks so much better than adding a random water neck that doesn't fit.
